Company History

  • ATS GROUP was started in 1993, involving our sister company Advanced Tooling Specialists, a precision machining company providing specialty tool and die solutions through the engineering of custom machinery.   • The AFS division was formed based on the company’s extensive work in building trim tooling, press systems, and automated finishing solutions for the foundry industry.
  • 2004 and 2006, ATS earned Wisconsin’s Small Business of the Year award.
  • July 2006, AFS moved into a new 50,000 square foot manufacturing facility with added investments in more precision CNC machining centers.
